About Us
Here at Thirkell’s we are a family run business established in 1969 and have steadily grown over the years. We started from a workshop at Handel Street, Millfield, then moved our Car Sale Dept. to Hylton Road, next came our department at Stockton Road, which was our city centre MOT testing station.
Our latest expansion project seen us open a large, modern workshop, new MOT test station, fast fit tyre and exhaust centre, spacious showroom and comfortable reception in Stobart Street next to the Stadium of Light.
